Tivadar Puskas

Tivadar Puskas has been a Partner at Schnetzer Puskas Ingenieure since 1996. After an apprenticeship as a civil engineering draftsman, he graduated in as an engineer at the HTL Burgdorf (1982) and the ETH Zurich (1987). After an initial employment as HTL engineer for support structures at Balzari and Schudel AG in Bern (1982-1984), there followed an in-depth study period at the ETH Zurich. He then accepted a post at Weiss Guillod Gisi Ingenieure as a project manager (1988-1991) and took up activity as a member of senior management at Emch + Berger AG in Solothurn (1992-1995). He returned to WGG Ingenieure 1996 as a Partner and Member of the executive board. In 2000, the company changed its name to WGG Schnetzer Puskas Ingenieure (since 2009 Schnetzer Puskas Ingenieure).

Tivadar Puskas is a member of the Construction Appeal Commission for the Canton of Basel-Stadt as an expert in statics. He is regularly invited to be a jury member in architectural competitions and is a guest reviewer in the Department of Architecture at the ETH Zurich, at the Accademia Mendrisio and at the Barcelona Architecture Center.

Dr. Kevin M. Rahner

Kevin M. Rahner has been a Partner at Schnetzer Puskas Ingenieure since 2016. He started work at WGG Schnetzer Puskas Ingenieure in Basel in 2005 and became an Associate in 2009. In 2002 he graduated at the Technical University of Stuttgart as an engineer and in 2015 received the doctorate at the ETH Zurich under Prof. Peter Marti and Prof. Walter Kaufmann. Prior to working at Schnetzer Puskas Ingenieure, he was a project engineer at Walther Mory Maier Civil Engineering AG in Basel and at Dr. Weiss engineering company in Freiburg in Breisgau.

Kevin M. Rahner accompanied the visiting lecturer Buchner Bründler Architects at the ETH Zurich in 2010-2011 and since 2016 has collaborated with the Faculty of Architecture at the FHNW (University of Applied Sciences) Basel. He is a member of the expert group for bridge building and structural engineering (FBH).

Stefan Bänziger

Stefan Bänziger is a Partner at Schnetzer Puskas Ingenieure. He started working at the WGG Ingenieure engineering office in 1997, which has had the current name since 2009.

He graduated in 1997 at the ETH Zurich as a civil engineer. He has been head of the Zurich office of Schnetzer Puskas Ingenieure since 2004.

Jan Stebler

Jan Stebler is a Partner at Schnetzer Puskas Ingenieure. From 2004 to 2009 he worked as an engineer and project leader at WGG Schnetzer Puskas Ingenieure. In 2010, he joined Conzett Bronzini Gartmann Engineers AG in Chur as a project leader. In 2012, he returned to Schnetzer Puskas Ingenieure and opened the branch in Bern, which he has been head of since then.

Jan Stebler graduated in 2003 at the ETH Zurich as a civil engineer.

Salome Hug

Salome Hug has been a Member of the Board at Schnetzer Puskas Ingenieure since 2020. From 2001 to 2004 she worked for Marchand & Partner in Berne and joined WGG Schnetzer Puskas Ingenieure in 2004, where she became an Associate in 2008. From 2017 to 2019, she worked as a project manager in general planning at Rapp Architekten AG.

Salome Hug studied civil engineering at the ETH Zurich and graduated in 2001. Since 2011, she is a member of the SIA Commission 142/143 Competitions and Study Contracts. From 2008 to 2012 she was a member of the board of SIA Basel and since 2020 she is on the board of the Basel regional group of the USIC.

Giotto Messi

Giotto Messi has been a Member of the Board at Schnetzer Puskas Ingenieure since 2020. Following his first employment at Messi e Associati in Bellinzona, he worked at Schnetzer Puskas Ingenieure from 2010 to 2015. From 2016 to 2017, he was employed at schlaich bergermann partner sbp GmbH in Berlin as a project manager. In 2018, he returned to Schnetzer Puskas Ingenieure as an Associate.

Giotto Messi received his Master of Science Degree as a civil engineer in 2009 at the ETH Lausanne. Since 2013, he has has accompanied various design professorships in architecture at the ZHAW (Zurich University of Applied Sciences), at Lucerne University of Applied Science and Arts, and at the ETH Zurich.

Die 2022 gegründete Schnetzer Puskas Berlin GmbH wird von Kai Petzold als Geschäftsführer geleitet. Er ist seit 2019 in Berlin für unser Büro tätig. Kai hat 2015 sein Masterstudium an der TU Berlin abgeschlossen. Er arbeitete bereits als Projektleiter an mehreren grösseren Projekten in Deutschland.

Stefan Birk has been an Associate at Schnetzer Puskas Ingenieure since 2017. After an initial employment as a project engineer at Machbar – Die Ingenieurwerkstatt in Stuttgart (2003-2004), he worked at Prior Associates and at MLM Consulting Engineers in Cambridge. In 2008, he started working as a project leader at WGG Schnetzer Puskas Ingenieure in Basel. After studying civil engineering at the HFT Stuttgart there followed an ERASMUS scholarship at the University of Leeds, England and he made a dissertation at the Universidad Autónoma de Yucatán, Mexico.

Johannes Dudli has been an Associate at Schnetzer Puskas Ingenieure since 2013. He graduated in 2006 as an engineer at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences in Winterthur and then started working at WGG Schnetzer Puskas Ingenieure. In 2012 he received his Bachelor of Arts ZFH degree in architecture at the ZHAW.

Patrick Grieder has been an Associate at Schnetzer Puskas Ingenieure since 2008. After an initial employment at GRG Ingenieure in Gelterkinden, he came to WGG Schnetzer Puskas Ingenieure in 2000. After an apprenticeship as a civil engineering draftsman, he studied civil engineering at the Technical College of Basel-Land and Basel-Stadt (1996-1999).

In 2003, he graduated at the TU Eindhoven as a civil engineer and worked as a project engineer and project leader at Advies en Ingenieursbureau van de Laar in Eindhoven, Holland until 2007. In 2007, he started at WGG Schnetzer Puskas Ingenieure. In the years 2011 to 2013 he worked for HUNT EAS in the USA and then returned to Schnetzer Puskas Ingenieure.
