Tivadar Puskas has been a Partner at Schnetzer Puskas Ingenieure since 1996. After an apprenticeship as a civil engineering draftsman, he graduated in as an engineer at the HTL Burgdorf (1982) and the ETH Zurich (1987). After an initial employment as HTL engineer for support structures at Balzari and Schudel AG in Bern (1982-1984), there followed an in-depth study period at the ETH Zurich. He then accepted a post at Weiss Guillod Gisi Ingenieure as a project manager (1988-1991) and took up activity as a member of senior management at Emch + Berger AG in Solothurn (1992-1995). He returned to WGG Ingenieure 1996 as a Partner and Member of the executive board. In 2000, the company changed its name to WGG Schnetzer Puskas Ingenieure (since 2009 Schnetzer Puskas Ingenieure).
Tivadar Puskas is a member of the Construction Appeal Commission for the Canton of Basel-Stadt as an expert in statics. He is regularly invited to be a jury member in architectural competitions and is a guest reviewer in the Department of Architecture at the ETH Zurich, at the Accademia Mendrisio and at the Barcelona Architecture Center.
