Profile

Development of challenging support structure in cooperation with all participants in the planning a construction process is simply the vocation of us engineers. Besides the technical and economic aspects, what interests us during the design of a support structure is the constructive dialog with the architects in a interdisciplinary environment. Through our theoretical and practical knowledge together with our experience, the development of support structures that reinforce the architectural expression in an integral manner is of great importance.

Our portfolio includes a wide spectrum of projects, small private houses to complex, innovative high-rise buildings. Reference projects of the office include amongst others: Conversions of buildings, such as the Transitlager warehouse in Basel; residential structures with formal innovative single-family, multi-family and high-rise buildings, such as the Green Tower in Wabern or the Meret Oppenheim high-rise building in Basel; cultural projects, such as the Landesmuseum in Zurich or the Cinémathèque Suisse in Penthaz; industrial and office buildings such as the laboratory building on the Novartis Campus in Basel or the Actelion Business Center in Allschwil; sustainable construction, such as the Monte Rosa Hut in Zermatt or the Ricola Kräuterzentrum in Laufen; landmarks, such as the Basel trade-fair tower or the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg.

With around 80 employees at three locations in Basel, Zurich and Bern, support structure planning from the design phase through to the execution at both home and abroad is the focus of our range of services.
